Emirates Flight Training Academy- A Soaring Venture

The Emirates Flight Training Academy located in Dubai is an academy dedicated towards national cadet pilots. The academy caters to around 400 students. Divided into two sections, the landside section will include an academic building with classrooms, a mosque, and student housing and recreational and dining facilities. The airside section will include an area for aircraft maintenance hangars.

Being the world's only academy that offers comprehensive integration of flying training, ground school, lodging, and relaxation all under one roof, this flight training academy is owned and operated by Emirates Training. 

We were given the contract by Bu Haleeba since they wanted our help on laminam tiles installation on the interior walls.

This magnanimous center was constructed with Mapei’s building materials: 

• The large tiles were fixed with an adhesive called KERABOND T, a cementitious adhesive mixed with 100% ISOLASTIC, a synthetic polymer.
• The boards were primed with PRIMER G, a synthetic resin based primer in water dispersion, to ensure a uniformly absorbent substrate. 
• MAPESIL LM, a natural mold-resistant silicon, was chosen because it matches the colour of the tile and the grouted joints.
• Cement based grout ULTRACOLOR PLUS has been used in the lobby areas.
