Behind the scenes of this architectural marvel lies an uncompromising commitment to quality and performance, supported by the strategic use of world-class construction materials. Mapei, a global leader in construction chemical solutions, played a key role in ensuring the durability, precision, and elegance of the finishes that define this landmark. Through the supply of high-performance adhesives, grouts, membranes, and repair mortars, Mapei helped bring the project's ambitious vision to life.

Across multiple residential and hospitality zones, a combined 78,000 square meters of porcelain and ceramic tile surfaces were installed using high-performance adhesives such as Adesilex P9 and Kerabond T. These products were carefully selected to guarantee strength, flexibility, and long-term reliability, particularly in the demanding back-of-house (BOH) areas of both the hotels and residential towers.

In areas requiring specialized floor solutions, Adesilex G19 was applied to secure rubber, PVC, and acoustic layers, forming a solid foundation beneath marble and other high-end finishes. For flawless wall coverings in hotel rooms, Adesilex MT32 provided the perfect bond, enhancing both appearance and performance.

The resort’s shimmering swimming pools and wet zones came to life with the help of Adesilex P10, used to affix 1,200 square meters of glass mosaic, while Granirapid White, Keraflex Maxi S1 White, and Keralastic T White were deployed to install over 80,000 square meters of delicate marble, stone, and tile on a variety of surfaces, including metal countertops and vertical facades. These adhesives ensured maximum bond strength and resistance to movement, critical in a structure of such complexity.

Waterproofing was another essential aspect of the project. More than 80,000 square meters of wet areas, including bathrooms, kitchens, and balconies, were treated with Mapelastic Aquadefense, forming a seamless, flexible barrier against water ingress. This was complemented using Mapelastic Smart across 22,000 square meters of swimming pools and wet zones for added protection and flexibility.

High-traffic areas required reliable finishing materials to endure daily wear while maintaining visual appeal. Kerapoxy and Ultracolor Plus grouts were used to finish over 190,000 square meters of tiled surfaces, offering superior resistance to stains, chemicals, and moisture.

Mapei's solutions extended further to structural reinforcement and repair. Products like Ultracolor Plus, Mapegrout ME 05, ME 06, T60 ME, and Planitop 110 were used to perform essential concrete repairs throughout the project. In parking facilities, Mapefloor FC 200 ME covered 60,000 square meters, providing a durable, chemical-resistant finish that withstands heavy vehicular use.
