MAPEI AT CERSAIE 2025

Mapei is taking part in the 42nd edition of Cersaie, the most important international event dedicated to ceramics, bathroom furnishings, design and architecture. The exhibition, held in Bologna from September 22 to 26 2025, continues to be a reference point for professionals in the sector, offering a space for comparison and inspiration on trends and technologies.

The theme of the 2025 edition, focused on responsible architectural space, explores the connection between design and quality of life, with an emphasis on the evolution of living environments and the importance of solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality and sustainability.

In line with this vision, Mapei presents at Cersaie cutting-edge technical solutions designed to meet the challenges of modern building. Among the highlights, products and systems developed to improve living comfort, guarantee durability and simplify installation operations, always with a special focus on sustainability. 

In Hall 25, Stand A2, Mapei presents an area entirely dedicated to its sustainable solutions and innovative systems for installation and design. Here visitors can discover a wide range of new products designed to meet the specific needs of professionals, with materials and technologies developed for increasingly responsible building. A team of Mapei experts is ready to provide technical support and guide visitors in choosing the most suitable solutions for each application context.

In Hall 19, Stand B22, Mapei has created a space dedicated to installers, featuring a full daily programme of technical demonstrations. Mapei product line specialists present the latest innovations and key systems, offering practical insights into the technical advantages of the materials and how they can be used. The adjacent area is dedicated to Profilpas, a Mapei Group company specialising in the production of profiles for floor and wall coverings, shower drains, outdoor raised floors and installation accessories.

On the occasion of Cersaie 2025, Mapei presents Keraflex S1 Evolution Zero: the new cementitious adhesive that combines high-level technical performance with respect for the environment. The formulation is optimised with low carbon footprint binders, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by over 35% compared to a traditional adhesive. In addition, containing more than 20% recycled material, it makes a real contribution to meeting the minimum environmental criteria (CAM) for construction. The product is part of the Zero Mapei line [1]: the range of products whose residual CO₂ emissions, calculated over the entire life cycle of the product, are completely offset through the purchase of certified carbon credits, in support of international forest protection projects. Thanks to its dual rheology, it simplifies installation even in summer conditions, and is ideal for floors and walls in residential, commercial and public contexts. 

Designed for the fast installation of ceramic tiles and stone material, Keraflex Quick is Mapei's new quick-setting cementitious adhesive, available in white and grey versions. It stands out for its high level of workability, ease of application and rapid drying: it is set to light foot traffic after just 4 hours and ready for use in just 24. An ideal solution even in cold weather conditions.

Ideal for grouting 4 to 15 mm joints between ceramic tiles and stone material, the new improved formulation of Keracolor GG offers even higher performance. It is a high performance, polymer-modified, cement-based grout, available in 20 colours, that guarantees excellent workability and long-lasting results. The optimised grain size ensures a smooth and compact final surface for uniform, resistant and crack-free grouts.

Designed to meet the needs of designers and installers, Mapei's range of complementary products for installation offers complete technical solutions to create comfortable, functional and long-lasting environments. Three important new products will be introduced at Cersaie: Mapeguard DH-U, reversible waterproofing corner for elements at different levels, which can be used on both right and left sides, with high tensile strength and excellent adhesion thanks to the non-woven fabric; Mapeguard ST Flex, thin flexible waterproofing  tape, available in two widths (12 and 24 cm), ideal for sealing corners and joints, with a reduced thickness to avoid excessive unevenness and Mapeguard WP Adhesive 1K,  one-component, quick-drying white cementitious adhesive, designed to bond waterproofing accessories and seal overlaps in Mapeguard systems, which may be mixed with two different ratios of water depending on the type of application, roller or trowel.

Mapei presents a new version of one of its most popular products: Mapesil AC Zero, the pure acetic silicone sealant, now reformulated in an even more sustainable way. Highly elastic and mould-resistant, it is ideal for application in wet environments, swimming pools, sanitary and ceramic surfaces, both indoors and outdoors. Available in 40 colours and a transparent version, it offers a glossy finish, fast curing and easy application. The new formulation is the first in the global construction sealant market to be free of fossil-derived raw materials, is packaged in recycled cartridges, and its residual emissions are fully offset throughout its life cycle through the purchase of certified carbon credits. 

For the world of vapour barriers and sliding layers in floor screeds, Mapei presents a solution for living and professional environments at Cersaie. Mapefoil VB 120 is the new LDPE film for uncoupling screeds, acting as low diffusion vapour barrier. Waterproof, CE marked and with high mechanical performance, it is a practical and effective solution for controlling substrate raising damp. .

Profilpas presents many new products designed to meet the needs of contemporary design and an increasingly sophisticated and functional installation. Mapei Color, the range of sixteen finishes available in eight warm shades and eight cold shades in combination with Mapei silicone grouts and sealants, has been extended with a new 6 mm height. To complete the proposal, new special pieces for corners and end pieces ensure a precise finish in every detail. For floor-level showers comes PP Drain Varioguard, the adjustable stainless steel drain, easy to install and to clean, ideal for adapting to any situation and to meet any technical and aesthetic requirement thanks to its maximum flexibility. The systems for outdoor raised floors are also renewed with two important novelties: the XXL adjustable support, designed for heights from 148 to 211 mm, and the PPL/TH draining joist, perfect for facilitating water runoff when installing large format slabs. Finally, Profilpas offers Raised Tile Protector: an innovative super-hydrophobic treatment that reduces water stagnation by more than 50%, facilitating water run-off. A water-based product with very low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions, designed to safeguard the health of both installers and end users, and EC1 Plus certified.
