Mapei Football Tournament keeps getting bigger & better…

In an event growing bigger by the year, Mapei Construction Chemicals wrapped up a big weekend by organizing the 3rd Mapei 5 aside football tournament for their clients. The tournament was held on February 22^nd, 2019 at Sports Mania, Dubai, one of the city’s premier 5 aside football venue’s.

The tournament provides a platform for executives working in different companies, to take out from their busy schedules and unleash their footballing talents. Over the past three years, participation has grown with each event and are managing to get more newcomers to the tournament. Further to this we hope to promote the fitness and well-being of our own Mapei employees through playing football as have pulled together as a corporate team and represented the company whilst wearing the Sassuolo team kit, said Mr. Stefano Iannacone – Director Middle East and East Africa of Mapei.

The tournament saw twenty teams competing against each other and was successful in creating a sense of fellowship and camaraderie between the attendees. The afternoon concluded with presentations to the first, second and third place teams: Isam Kabbani in first place, , Consolidated Construction Company (CCC) in second, and our own Mapei Construction Chemicals in third.       

A fun family day enjoyed by all who attended.
