The project first includes the construction of a safety tunnel parallel to the existing tunnel, connected by six cross-passages serving as emergency exits.
Afterwards, the tunnel will be refurbished with the complete renovation of the drainage systems, the roadway, the sidewalks, and the electromechanical equipment. |
