Food & Hospitality Malaysia (FHM) is a premier biennial trade show that brings together professionals from the food and hospitality sectors, providing a platform for businesses to showcase their innovations to a global audience. In our first participation in this event, MAPEI Malaysia presented a range of innovative flooring, waterproofing, and building solutions designed to meet the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and durability — essential for the food and hospitality industry.
From hygiene to HACCP compliance, the right flooring plays a crucial role in maintaining food safety standards. MAPEI Malaysia demonstrated how its world-class flooring systems, trusted by industries worldwide, deliver exceptional performance in demanding environments. Over the four days of the event, visitors engaged with our interactive colorful flooring puzzle plates, learned how our MAPEFLOOR CPU flooring system works, and discovered how products like MAPEFLOOR CPU-MF 600 AP M combine hygiene, durability, safety, and efficiency into one seamless system.
Our Business Unit Manager, Mr. Lim Kean Meng, also delivered an insightful presentation on the essentials of resin flooring systems for HACCP compliance, highlighting how MAPEI solutions help food industry facilities achieve the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and long-term performance. We are met with over 50 representatives who showed interest and curiosity in asking questions about our systems in this presentation.
In addition to resin flooring systems, MAPEI showcased a complete range of high-performance systems for installing textile and vinyl flooring that includes soundproofing for hotels. Visitors also explored our industry-leading waterproofing systems for exposed decks, epoxy flooring, and tile installation for swimming pools — all engineered to deliver superior performance and durability across diverse building applications.
It was truly inspiring to connect with so many professionals from the food and hospitality industry, sharing how MAPEI’s flooring and waterproofing systems are helping to shape safer, more efficient, and sustainable environments — from hotel facilities to large-scale food manufacturing plants.
