Design-Build Contractor: MC-Industrial Ready Mix Supplier: Metro Materials Project Facts: $905 million Holcim US cement plant in St. Genevieve County, MO. 2 150’ x 207’ clinker silos 13 60’ x 275’ blend silos 16 day round-the-clock concrete pour for 13 slip formed silos. 6,015 cy of slip formed concrete will be poured. In all over 90,000 cy of concrete will be poured and placed. When complete in Feb. 2009 this plant will be the largest single clinker production line in the world. Annual cement capacity of 4 million metric tons. |
