Serving the excellence of international tennis
State-of-the-art surfaces for high-performance sports facilities from the heart of Europe to China and the United States
Five tennis courts projects— spanning Spain, Poland, China, Egypt, and the United States — where cutting-edge sports surfaces were installed using the Mapecoat TNS system. From the renovation of community courts to the construction of elite tennis centers, each project demonstrates the system’s versatility, performance, and aesthetic appeal, offering durable, comfortable, and certified playing surfaces designed to meet professional standards across diverse climates and locations.
CUBELLES TENNIS CLUB COURTS, BARCELONA (SPAIN)
The four tennis courts in Cubelles needed renovation to improve the safety and comfort of the athletes. The local authorities chose solutions from the Mapecoat TNS range, applied by the company Asfaltos del Vallès, to renovate the surfaces. After repairing the joints and laying a new layer of drainage asphalt, three coats of Mapecoat TNS Paint were applied with airless technology to preserve permeability. The selected colors, Miami Purple TNS 31 for the play area and London Green TNS 30 for the exterior, provide a strong visual impact, while the playing lines marked with Mapecoat TNS Line create a precise and durable layout.
At Cubelles Tennis Club in Barcelona Mapecoat TNS Paint was used to create durable and resistant sport surfaces with a strong visual impact.
FAIRPLAYCE SPORT CENTRE, POZNAŃ (POLAND)
In the heart of Poznań, a new 7,000 m2 sports center decided to expand its offerings with professional tennis courts. The application company Rent-Bu partnered with Mapei to create 2,025 m2 of ITF 3-certified sport surfaces, overcoming climatic challenges with a flawless application.
Mapei ensured a precise and durable result, thanks to Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW, Mapecomfort R, Ultrabond Turf 2 Stars, Mapecoat TNS Grey Base Coat, Mapecoat TNS Finish 1, Mapecoat TNS Finish 3 and Mapecoat TNS Line.
At Fairplayce sport center in Poznan, ITF 3-certified sport surfaces were created with solutions from the Mapecoat TNS range.
BAO'AN SPORTS CENTER TENNIS HALL, SHENZHEN (CHINA)
The Shenzhen Baoan Sports Center Tennis Hall is a center of excellence with 21 state-of-the-art courts, including 17 outdoor and 3 VIP indoor, completed with Mapecoat TNS Comfort system. To ensure a high-performance surface that meets international standards, application began with treating the substrates with Mapecoat I 600 W epoxy primers, while Mapecoat TNS Grey Base Coat and Mapecoat TNS White Base Coat were used for creating the base. Finally, finishing with Mapecoat TNS Finish 4 and Mapecoat TNS Color ensured high aesthetic impact and durability to the surfaces. Mapecoat TNS Line was used to mark the lines.

TENNIS COURTS AT AL MOUDIRA HOTEL, LUXOR (EGYPT)
In the picturesque setting of the Al Moudira Hotel, the only palace located on the west bank of the Nile, a state-of-the-art tennis court was completed with the Mapecoat TNS Comfort system. This solution, based on acrylic resin coatings and a granular rubber mat, provides a high-performance surface that offers a good level of comfort during play. After careful preparation of the substrate, the Mapecomfort R mat was bonded using Ultrabond Turf 2 Stars. Mapecoat TNS Primer EPW was then applied, followed by layers of Mapecoat TNS Grey Base Coat and Mapecoat TNS Base Color, which created a uniform and durable base coat. The final coating included two coats of Mapecoat TNS Finish 4 to provide durability, color stability and excellent performances. Finally, the lines of play were marked with Mapecoat TNS Line. The result is a tennis court that is perfectly integrated into the refined setting of the Al Moudira Hotel.

SADDLEBROOK TENNIS ACADEMY, WESLEY CHAPEL (FLORIDA, USA)
The prestigious Saddlebrook Tennis Academy in Florida, where champions such as Pete Sampras and Monica Seles have trained, chose Mapei to renovate its historic courts. The work included concrete repairs and the installation of the Mapecoat TNS system. After preparing the substrate with Planitop 200 Gray** and Mapeflex PU FT**, Mapecoat TNS Base Coat Binder in its black shade was applied, reinforced with Mapenet Reinforced mesh**. For the final coating, Mapecoat TNS Finish 1 in different colour shades (NY Blue, London Green, Dark Gray), and Mapecoat TNS Binder (NY Blue, Dark Gray) were used, restoring a state-of-the-art surface to the courts, capable of withstanding Florida's extreme weather conditions. Mapecoat TNS Line Seal and Mapecoat TNS Line were used to mark the lines.
Solutions from the Mapecoat TNS range contributed to create resistant, state-of-the-art surfaces for the tennis courts at Saddlebrook Tennis Academy.
