Water ingress and deformation led to the formation of ice above the road surface in the tunnel in winter.
First of all, water ingress was sealed and drained off with Mapeband Flex Roll / Adesilex PG 4. The water-bearing construction joints in the concreted section were also sealed. The shotcrete surface was primed with Eporip and reprofiled with Mapegrout Easy Flow. The side walls were then primed to a height of 4 m above the road surface with Mapcoat WT, a two-component epoxy finish. The tunnel coating Mapecoat W HRI was applied with a low degree of soiling. |
