To restore the subway to full operation, the work had to be completed as quickly as possible. For this purpose, we offered our waterproofing membranes, quick repair solutions, concrete additives, sealants and auxiliary materials.
In December 2023, significant leaks and cracks appeared in the Kyiv metro tunnel between Demiivska and Lybidska stations. It should be noted that tunnels between these stations were constructed in the floodplain of the Lybid River in 2008-2010 in difficult mining and geological conditions. The stations were closed for urgent repairs. The repair work lasted 9 months and in September 2024, the blue metro line resumed its full operation. During this time, specialists relocated more than 200 cable networks, dug a 15-meter-deep pit, dismantled the old 27-meter-long part of the tunnel and built a new one. |
