SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTS WITH MAPEI & CITRA

CITRA trusts in MAPEI’s comprehensive range of different waterproofing systems to meet the requirements found on their local construction projects, one of which being Mapelastic Smart. Mapelastic Smart is Mapei’s highly renowned flexible cementitious waterproofer used for waterproofing concrete surfaces such as balconies, concrete in civil works, water retaining basins, retaining walls, exposed concrete surfaces and swimming pools to name a few; and is applied by trowel, block brush or roller. Due to the content and high quality of the synthetic resins, the hardened layer of Mapelastic Smart remains constantly flexible.

Another recommended product for the CITRA system is Mapei’s Aquaflex Roof HR - a fibre-filled membrane in water emulsion with high solar reflectance (SRI of 105). It can lower the surface temperature of a roof by more than 50% compared to a dark coating. CITRA also chooses Mapei’s alkali-resistant, glass fibre mesh called Mapenet 150 to reinforce the protective waterproofing layers on their systems.
