PROJOINT DIL is a range of movement joints for floors which are regularly subject to expansion/movement. They are especially suitable for large surface areas, along the movement joints in the concrete slab to absorb expansion and/or contraction
movements and deaden vibrations. Profiles in stainless steel NIN – NIL with PVC insert for the creation of elastic joints during the laying of ceramic floors which are subject to intense
foot and vehicle traffic. They offer excellent protection for tile edges. When necessary, the elastic insert can be replaced. The expansion area of PROJOINT DIL profiles is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer with high flexibility. The material can withstand contacts or
stresses of chemicals such as alkaline products, acidic cleansers or de-icing salts which are normally used on ceramic tile floors. The perforated flanges guarantee perfect grip between the concrete slab (previously laid in sections), PROJOINT DIL and the tiles. Profile depth must be equal or 0.5-1mm less than the tile depth, never greater. The choice of joint will depend on chemical, mechanical or any other kind of stress in the application environment.
