Mapei packs a big punch at The Installer Show 2025

July 18, 2025

This June, the Mapei UK team took its wall and floor solutions to The Installer Show 2025, which welcomed over 30,000 visitors through the doors at the NEC, Birmingham. From its 52sqm stand, Mapei packed a very big punch with full installation systems, Profilpas trims, Mapeheat underfloor heating, energy-saving thermal solutions and UltraCare treatments drawing the crowds. New product presentations also included the show launch of Mapesil Tile Matt & Mapesil Stone Matt silicone sealants and Mapei Color – a new Profilpas profile range consisting of 16 colour-coated aluminium finishes, all specifically matched to Ultracolor Plus grouts and Mapesil AC sealants.

Located in the arena’s bustling Hall 4, Mapei’s eye-catching stand was designed to ensure a smooth visitor flow and to maximise space. Central storage formed the basis of Mapei’s stand graphics and two ‘arms’ added structure and depth to the design, with a seated networking area, product displays and popular branded reaction ring game below. The stand was bordered by display plinths and totems showcasing product build-up models and Profilpas Mapecolor mood boards, as well as an area for hosting live resilient and ceramic product demonstrations, which took place throughout the three-day event.

Wider Mapei activities included its proud sponsorship of the Fitter of the Year semi-final competition and featured products within the FITA (Flooring Industry Training Association) Demonstration arena. There were giveaways aplenty, including iconic Mapei blue rubber ducks, reversible bucket hats, application tools, chocolates and a selection of Profilpas goodies. The Kera-quack duck mascot also made an appearance on-stand and as part of The Installer Show organised activities.

Mapei also achieved additional event exposure on the official Installer Show website and as part of a ‘What to expect from Mapei at The Installer Show’ social feature, highlighting its newest products, demonstrations and sustainability ethos. In addition, Tool Talk TV recorded video-shorts of Mapei trainers and a stand overview, and Mapei’s own professional videographer captured key moments in footage that has been widely shared across social platforms.

“The show was a huge success for all involved and was greatly received by visitors and organisers. We will be returning to The Installer Show for 2026,” concluded Mapei’s Head of Marketing, Sarah Ridgway.
