Ultracare : The New Mapei Line for Cleaning, maintaining and Protecting Surfaces.

Mapei’s consolidated experience in solutions for installing ceramics has led to the creation of ULTRACARE, the new line of safe and easy to use products developed specifically for cleaning, maintaining and protecting surfaces.

The new line makes its market debut with new cleaning products to be used once installation has been completed and then for the routine and non-routine maintenance of ceramic tiles, stone and glass mosaics; products that meet a whole host of cleaning needs on different types of worksites.

Thanks to the specialisation and focus on quality that have always set Mapei apart, professional installers will now be able to find the most suitable solution for any situation: from new installations in commercial and domestic surroundings to renovation work on existing floors, as well as the need to keep surfaces clean and healthy.

Ultracare products are available in both 5l highly concentrated solutions and ready to use 1l spray bottle variations. The concentrated solutions can be used neat or diluted with water according to specific requirements (level of concentration, amount and degree of dirt to be removed, type of surface to be treated).  

ULTRACARE MULTICLEANER:

A concentrated neutral cleaner suitable for the everyday cleaning of both treated and untreated surfaces.

When used in different dilutions it is suitable for gently cleaning surfaces such as porcelain and ceramic tiles, stone and concrete, in an efficient and delicate way. For acid sensitive products, such as polished natural stone, it is also the solution for removing cementitious residues after grouting. Dries without streaks.

ULTRACARE MULTICLEANER SPRAY:

A ready to use cleaning spray that makes cleaning quick and easy. Suitable for use on many surfaces, it is designed to safely clean surfaces that have been treated with a protective product. Just spray and wipe clean without compromising the protective treatment. It is truly multi-purpose as it can be used on many areas of the home and workplace. Perfect for glass, mirrors and mosaics. Dries without streaks.

ULTRACARE HD CLEANER:

An effective alkaline cleaner that will remove stubborn organic dirt and grease from many surfaces to deep clean and prepare surfaces for restoration or re-treatment.

Highly effective degreaser and deep cleaner for extraordinary maintenance. Perfect to clean surfaces for tile-on-tile installations. Can be used to remove water-based metalized waxes.

ULTRACARE KERANET:

A concentrated acid cleaner suitable for use on porcelain, ceramic and all acid-resistant surfaces. It is very effective at removing cementitious residues that may remain on the surface after grouting.

It is a buffered acid solution that does not emit fumes, making it safe for both the applicator and the environment. Highly effective at removing cementitious grout residues and installation dirt. Suitable for wet vac use.

ULTRACARE KERANET EASY

A ready to use acid-based cleaner suitable for use soon after grouting with cementitious grout.

It is suitable for use on porcelain, ceramic and all acid resistant surfaces, it makes removal of any grout residues at the point of grouting quick and easy. Simply spray on to the surface once the grout has started to cure. Usually around 30 minutes after grouting. Perfect when installing large format tiles to avoid picture framing. Can be used on the reverse of tiles to remove contamination.

Suitable for use one day after grouting to remove any remaining light traces of cementitious residues.

ULTRACARE ACID CLEANER

A concentrated acid cleaner that is suitable for use on porcelain, ceramic and all acid resistant surfaces.

Perfect for removing cementitious grout residue that may be left behind after grouting. It can be used in different dilutions and as it also contains a detergent this is a truly multi-purpose cleaner.

Highly effective at removing cementitious grout residues. Removes limescale, rust and efflorescence. Suitable for wet vac use. Does not emit fumes.

ULTRACARE KERAPOXY CLEANER

A ready to use product that easily removes any remaining epoxy residues after grouting. It is suitable for use on ceramic and glass including mosaics. Ideal for cleaning at point of installation. Quick and easy application.

ULTRACARE EPOXY OFF GEL

A very effective high viscosity solution that makes the removal of any epoxy residues a simple process. Particularly good when working on vertical surfaces as the gel stays in contact with the surface and softens the residues.

The new line will be produced in Mapei’s Italian facility in Mediglia (Milan), Mapei Group’s main manufacturing plant, for the entire global market, except North America.

And over the course of the year the new ULTRACARE line will be further extended with the launch of new products for protecting surfaces and other complementary items.
