Mapei has been shortlisted in the ‘Tunnelling Specialist Supplier of the Year’ category of the Tunnelling Festival 2023 Awards. The annual festival brings together the whole tunnelling community for “an interactive and immersive day of case studies, debate and future project updates”. Overall winners will be announced at the Awards’ gala dinner, which takes place in the evening after the Festival - on Thursday 7 December - at Hilton London Bankside.
The Specialist Supplier Award recognises companies that design or construct tunnels or deliver tunnelling related infrastructure. Mapei UTT UK joins just four other shortlisted firms and has been recognised for its contribution to the development of an environmentally friendly effective soil conditioning system, supporting Riverlinx JV with the 2nd drive excavation of the Silvertown Tunnel.
