Mapei UK has been nominated as a finalist in three categories of the new BASA (British Adhesives & Sealants Association) Awards. The awards recognise the best in the adhesives and sealants sector, with winners announced at an Awards’ Night hosted at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham on 22 November.
The three award categories in which Mapei has been nominated include:
Environment & Sustainability Initiative - where Mapei initiatives include its Zero Line of products with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle*. New products to join the Zero line for 2024 include Keraquick S1 Zero cementitious tile adhesive and UltraCare Smooth Silicone for finishing sealants.
Excellence in Training & Development - with recent new programmes including a Large Format Tile Installation Training Course hosted at the purpose-built Mapei Academy in the West Midlands.
Manufacturer of the Year - which recognises the most outstanding BASA Manufacturer, demonstrating growth of its business and a sustained contribution to the UK economy.
Mapei UK has been a member of BASA for many years and is delighted to be nominated at its first awards ceremony.
