Job description
Mapei (UK) Ltd is seeking to recruit an Area Sales Manager, Ceramic & Resilient, Ireland (North and South).
The main role is to achieve all sales targets and objectives set by the Head of Sales, Ireland. To ensure the company has an active presence in all major accounts. To monitor turnover objectives for all accounts. Recommendation to management any method of sales promotional activity. To ensure sales costs remain within specified budgets.
Applicants must be highly driven, focussed and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the on-going success of the company.
Essential: Adherence to company management systems, policies and procedures already implemented within the business Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Sound verbal and written communication skills; Organisation and time management skills; Negotiation, listening and problem solving skills; A proven successful track record within the current marketplace of a minimum 3 years. Minimum 5 GCSE’s grade C or equivalent to include English and Maths; Full, clean, current and valid driving licence; A full working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
Desirable: Knowledge of CRM system (training will be provided)
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hard-working, reliable and have a positive attitude. Out of office hours may be required and therefore overnight stays may be necessary. A full job description and person specification is available.

Salary will be negotiable based on experience, knowledge and ability. Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, 0830-1700 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
