Business development Manager, Polyglass Category - Scotland
Job description
Mapei (UK) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager Polyglass Category.
The main role is to achieve all sales targets and objectives set by the Category Director/Category Manager. To ensure the company has an active presence in all major accounts. To monitor turnover objectives for all accounts. Recommendation to management any method of sales promotional activity. To ensure sales costs remain within specified budgets. To develop and review the Polyglass Category sales in Scotland.
Applicants must be highly driven, focussed and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the on-going success of the company. Developing relationships with Specifiers & Contractors is key to this role so the successful candidate must be able to communicate at all levels demonstrating excellent knowledge within this product area.
Adherence to company management systems, policies and procedures already implemented within the business.

Negotiation, listening and problem solving skills.
A proven successful track record with the current marketplace of a minimum 3 years.
Minimum 5 GCSE’s grade C or equivalent to include English and Maths.
Full, clean, current and valid driving licence.
A full working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint)
Desirable:
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hard-working, reliable and have a positive attitude. Out of office hours may be required and therefore overnight stays may be necessary. A full job description and person specification is available.

Salary will be negotiable based on experience, knowledge and ability. Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, 0830-1700 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
