Maintenance Team Leader

Job description

A vacancy has arisen at Mapei (UK) Ltd for the position of Maintenance Team Leader

The main requirement for this position is to ensure effective maintenance of the plant, premises, and ancillary equipment always, to enable cost effective satisfying of all customer requirements. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a maintenance shift and must possess the following essential and desirable skills:



Essential:
  • Must have 3 years minimum experience in a maintenance team within a fast-paced automotive or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of and experience in using common root cause analysis techniques.
  • Good communication & organizational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of commonly used computer software.
  • Flexibility and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and workload.
  • To lead by example, guide and motivate and support the maintenance shifts in a positive manner.
  • Good prioritization is imperative and the ability to adapt to changing priorities is key.
  • Experience in the use of a computerized maintenance management system.


Desirable:
  • Previous experience in leading teams


The hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week on a rotating shift pattern 0600-1400/1400-2200/2200-0600/2200-0600).
