Job description
Mapei (UK) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Materials Applicator and Creator based at our Halesowen site.
The main role is to coordinate and create samples and models on the behalf of the technical and marketing departments, as well as testing materials for technical.
We are looking for a self-driven, highly motivated person with a positive outlook and ‘can do’ attitude. Mature attitude, reliable, flexible and trustworthy. Well-presented and businesslike and able to get on with others and be a team-player.
Applicants must have hands on trade-based skills, ideally in one or more trades and must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with customers, managers and all members of staff
Essential:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within the construction sector.
- Minimum 5 GCSE’s grade C or equivalent to include English and Maths.
- Must be able to calculate project quantities.
- Ability to demonstrate and train installers.
- A full working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, PowerPoint)
Desirable:
- Previous experience within the industry.
- CAD design

Salary will be negotiable based on experience, knowledge and ability. Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, 0730-1600 Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
