A vacancy has arisen at Mapei (UK) Ltd for the role of Stock Analyst due to expansion of our Stock Control Department based in Halesowen.

The main role is to assist the Purchasing Manager with all analytical aspects of stock control. Daily duties will include excel analysis of stock levels and trends, liaising with category managers and the commercial team to ensure minimum and maximum levels are set correctly and all stock requirements are covered. Liaising with logistics to actively contribute to the control and utilisation of space.  To escalate any issues which arise to the line management at the earliest possible moment to enable the management structure to resolve any issues in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will have excellent computer and communication skills, be highly organised and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure.  In addition, the successful candidate will be able to prioritise their workload, work diligently and meticulously to Mapei procedures.  Some knowledge of the ISO 9001 Quality Management system would be advantageous.

Essential knowledge/skills: 

• Minimum 5 GCSEs to grade C or equivalent to include English and Maths.

• Excellent communication skills. Clear and effective with all levels      throughout the business including senior management.

• Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point).

• Superior excel skills and knowledge are essential.

• Stock control background.

• Knowledge of D365 system but full training will be provided.

• Manufacturing background.
