Over the years, the jetty had suffered the problems commonly afflicting concrete marine structures i.e. corrosion of the steel reinforcement leading to cracks and spalling. MAPEI proposed a full range repair & protection system for the project with materials for protection of steel rebars, concrete re-profiling, crack repairs, and protective coatings.
