Mapei will be shining the spotlight on two of its property maintenance brands –Wykamol Waterproofing Solutions and UltraCare – at Housing 2025 (24-26 June at Manchester Central, Stand A57). With a focus on surface cleaning and maintenance, mould control and insulation, Mapei will present a range of system solutions designed to promote a healthy living environment. It will also showcase installation products from its ceramic and resilient flooring lines, from levelling and smoothing compounds and primers, to adhesives, grout and sealant.
With its sustainable waterproofing and preservation brand, Wykamol Waterproofing Solutions, Mapei will present three unique systems for all levels of damp, condensation and mould contamination.
System 1 includes the Mould Eradication Kit - a two-phase solution containing MCS1 Mould Clear Solution, which kills and removes mould, and MCS3 Fungicidal Additive, which is added to finishes to prevent future mould growth.
System 2 builds on System 1 for more challenging environments by adding ThermalDry to the solution, an anti-condensation coating that protects walls from condensation forming on cold spots - the leading cause of mould growth in dwellings. Finally,
System 3 includes the addition of ISO-Therm - patented, textile-based thin internal wall insulation (TIWI) for dryer, warmer walls.
Mapei’s UltraCare range provides solutions for every step of floor protection and maintenance. For Housing 2025, it will focus on the deep cleaning of existing kitchens and bathrooms; products on show and in demonstrations will include: UltraCare Grout Cleaner,HD Cleaner, Fuga Fresca Grout Refresh,Grout Protector Spray,Smooth Silicone and Keranet Easy.
The targeted UltraCare system offers material cost savings and reduced overall labour costs. Treatments also benefit from EMICODE: ECI Plus-certified very low VOC formulations, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification and are included within Mapei UK’s Zero Line, with CO2 fully offset in the entire life cycle.*
