The collection is based on the research and technical experience of Mapei's more than 80 years of history and represents the collective result of approved tests in small and large projects, both in Italy and other countries.

The creative and innovative technical specialists in Mapei's state-of-the-art main R&D laboratory for colors and wall coverings have studied and selected more than 1,000 colors specifically for Mapei plaster and paint products and thermal insulation systems.
