MBP (NZ) Ltd celebrates a milestone with the opening of Christchurch warehouse/branch
The Christchurch warehouse/branch grand opening last week Wednesday 20 March, celebrated the long-term vision of the MAPEI Group to provide better customer service to their South Island customers with an office/warehouse space measuring over 1200 square meters.
The Christchurch warehouse/branch grand opening last week Wednesday 20 March, celebrated the long-term vision of the MAPEI Group to provide better customer service to their South Island customers with an office/warehouse space measuring over 1200 square meters.
The MAPEI Group has been operating in New Zealand for over twenty years and has until now supplied its customers and resellers in the South Island using third party logistics providers. Having rapidly grown over the past few years MAPEI’s exclusive distributor in New Zealand, MBP (NZ) Limited (MBP), has decided to move all South Island warehousing in-house to better manage compliance and customer service.
The new warehouse facility also enables MBP to carry a higher level of inventory and more product lines. It also provides a venue for customer training and for sales staff to better manage their customer support activities.
The event took place at 41 Waterloo Road, Hornby, Christchurch between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Customers were treated to drinks and nibbles.
MBP’s General Manager Paul Tanner commented: “The opening of a warehouse fully managed by MBP is a significant milestone in our long-term growth. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide a high level of customer support in the South Island and complements the large facility we opened in Auckland in 2021. We look forward to continued expansion in the South Island.
