Application	Renovation of eroded pool walls with Mononfinish HD, Mapecoat KB on top edges to make cleaning easier. 1. Dimensioned for 53,000 people. 2. Mechanical, biological and chemical treatment steps. 3. 12 pools cast in place in the early 70s. 4. Over the years, the covering concrete layer has eroded and created surfaces difficult to keep clean. 5. Renovation includes washing/blasting of old concrete surfaces, new covering concrete layer and coating of top edges for better cleanability. 6. The solution for the concrete basins was to apply Monofinish HD to restore the covering concrete layer and at the same time obtain a surface protection for the underlying structure. To make it easier to clean the edges of the pool, Mapecoat KB was also applied. 7. The treatment means that the plant's lifespan is estimated to be extended for a further 50 years.
