MAPEFIBRE BG 55

Structural polyolefin fibres for high-ductility concrete and shotcrete

Polyolefin fibres with high energy absorption capacity for concrete and shotcrete with increased toughness and superior post-crack ductility. Designed and optimised for civil works above and below ground. 

WHERE TO USE

  • Concrete road surfaces
  • Precast elements and tunnel segments
  • Shotcrete for initial and/or final linings in tunnels
  • Concrete casting for final linings in tunnels, wells etc.

ADVANTAGES:

  • High performance – High energy absorption capacity for concrete with increased toughness and flexural strength; 
  • Cost-effective – lower dosage per cubic metre, so lower transport costs and easier handling and storage 
  • Better mixing and homogeneous distribution without balling – All fibres are supplied in easy-to-handle soluble pucks and packaged in pulpable bags.  
  • Safe and easy to handle – compared with the use of steel fibres, Mapefibres are lightweight and safe to touch  
  • Non-corroding for long-term durability

Packaging: 5kg pulpable paper bags with each bag containing a number of pucks individually bound by soluble tape.
