MAPEFIBRE BG 55

Structural polyolefin fibres for high-ductility concrete and shotcrete

Polyolefin fibres with high energy absorption capacity for concrete and shotcrete with increased toughness and superior post crack ductility. Designed and optimised for civil works above and below ground. 

WHERE TO USE

  • Concrete road surfaces
  • Precast elements and tunnel segments
  • Shotcrete for initial and/or final linings in tunnels
  • Concrete casting for final linings in tunnels, wells etc.

ADVANTAGES:

  • High performance – High energy absorption capacity for concrete with increased toughness and flexural strength; 
  • Cost effective – lower dosage per cubic metre, so lower transport costs and easier handling and storage 
  • Better mixing and homogeneous distribution without balling – All fibres are supplied in easy-to-handle soluble pucks and packaged in pulpable bags.
