Mapei is pleased to announce that Paul Russell, Product Manager for Concrete Repair, has been appointed the Publicity Vice Chair position for the Structural Concrete Alliance.
Following an Alliance Publicity meeting held on 16th December 2020, votes were collected from Alliance members and concluded the win.
Established in 2014, the Structural Concrete Alliance brings together the Concrete Repair Association (CRA), Corrosion Prevention Association (CPA) and Sprayed Concrete Association (SCA) to provide a single co-ordinated voice for the asset protection and repair industry.
Paul Russell said, “Having been involved with the CRA for the past 10 years, and the SCA and CPA for the last 6 years, as well as the Structural Concrete Alliance since its conception, I am pleased to represent the member companies as well as Mapei as Vice Chair on the publicity committee.”
Following a year of uncertainty for the building industry due to the coronavirus pandemic, the SCA have had to re-think their methods of promoting the activities of its members. Showing no signs for concern, Paul said, “I feel the Chair, Lucy Stone of Volker Laser, and myself will be able to work together and look at new and innovative ways of getting the SCA message across to the industry.”
Meanwhile, Mapei continues to offer building products and systems for all projects requiring structural strengthening, concrete repairs, and sprayed concrete, amongst others across all product lines.
