A thin layer of residue, or grout haze, left on the tile surface can usually be removed with a dry cloth. If it is more stubborn to remove, use the appropriate UltraCare product recommended in our technical document: “Removing Grout Haze.”
Yes, on deeper grout joints, you can re-apply Kerapoxy grout over an existing layer of Kerapoxy grout (or Kerapoxy CQ over Kerapoxy CQ). The key is to leave only a thin layer on the joint surface.
Use UltraCare Epoxy Grout Haze Remover. Although Flexcolor CQ grout is not an epoxy grout, this product works great with it, so long as it is not allowed to remain on the grout joint for more than 20 minutes, which could damage the grout.

It can be removed if heated with an industrial dryer (heat gun). Epoxy grout is heat-resistant up to 100°C (212°F). Heated past this temperature, it softens and can be removed with a knife or trowel.
