Internal Corner Profiles

Diaplas Cove-Shaped profile is an anodized aluminum cove base designed to create a smooth, hygienic transition between tiled walls and previously finished floor surfaces. It features a perforated anchoring leg that is embedded into the mortar bond coat during tile installation, ensuring a secure mechanical bond with the wall. It comes in three sizes, to accommodate tiles of 5/16" (8 mm), 3/8" (10 mm) or 1/2" (12.5 mm) thickness.

A dovetailed channel on the profile allows for optional adhesion to the floor surface using suitable materials such as Mapesil T Plus silicone sealant, an epoxy resin or a thin-set mortar, depending on the application requirements.

Diaplas Cove-Shaped provides a cove with a 3/8" (10 mm) radius, which prevents dirt accumulation and facilitates easy cleaning. It also helps to prevent surface water penetration, supporting hygienic standards in areas with strict sanitary requirements such as commercial kitchens, bathrooms, food-processing plants, and other tiled environments.

Accessories for the Diaplas Cove-Shaped profile include 90° inside and outside corners, as well as end caps, ensuring a complete and professional installation.
