Street basketball court in Valmadrera: a head start for Kobe Bryant. A place where sport and creativity meet Valmadrera (Italy)
The facility, located in Valmadrera (Lecco province, northern Italy), was created out of a passion for sport, a desire for remembrance and a need for artistic expression. The playing field, designed by street artist Francesca Cassani, alias “NineInThePaint”, is no ordinary basketball court: it is a tribute to the memory of the American basketball player Kobe Bryant, a genius of the era and Olympic champion. |
