Why do we need fast-setting systems?
Various situations call for fast-setting systems at job sites. One common need is for a quick installation and hand-over in order to minimise disruption of business operations. In another case, the selected stone material may be humidity-sensitive causing the tiles to warp when they are unevenly exposed to moisture for extended periods. Therefore, fast-setting adhesives are recommended for stone installations.
As tile-flooring works are multi-stage, layered processes, all materials used for a fast-track job should be similarly fast-setting and curing.

In environments subjected to aggressive chemical agents, an option is to use reaction-type adhesives classified R2 according to EN 12004, such as Kerapoxy or Kerapoxy Design, for tile fixing and grouting.
