MAPEI’s range of waterproofing solutions was further expanded with the official launching of Aquaflex Roof Plus and Planiseal 388 at the company’s Nilai Plant. The event kicked off with a tour of the factory and warehouse for the customers in attendance. Simon Yap, the Waterproofing Product Manager, presented the products’ performance characteristics and gave examples of the applications for which they would be ideally suited. Mr. Seow Aik Guan, the Managing Director of Mapei Malaysia, remarked that the introduction of these two products illustrated MAPEI’s continuing commitment and effort to improving the range of cost-effective solutions for the building industry in the local environment.
Participants were then led outdoors where they were shown live demonstrations of application techniques using spray machines for both Aquaflex Roof Plus and Planiseal 388. Participants were also given the opportunity for hands-on applications to gain direct experience of the ease with which applications can be made with trowels and brushes.
