MAPEI AIDS SCHOOL IN ‘SELF-HELP’ REFURBISHMENT PROJECT

Construction of the first two buildings in what is now SK Bukit Pantai, Bangsar, was completed in 1983. The school has since expanded greatly and today has a student population of 905. For the latest self-help refurbishment project initiated by the principal, Encik Shaharuddin bin Eusop. MAPEI donated 100 bags of Keraflex adhesives and 2 bags of Keracolor tile grouts for tiling works to 2 classrooms, library and a resource room that covers 210 m² that were in dire conditions. This project was carried out by MAPEI contractor, Acreworks Sdn Bhd during the 2-week school holidays in June 2018.

Besides materials, MAPEI Technical Service was on site to provide advice on installation methods and good practice for the tiling works.
