The ARCHIDEX Star Awards which celebrate excellence in product design for architecture and interior design within the building industry were given during the ARCHIDEX Exhibition which was held online this year from 3rd Nov to 10th Dec.

Products were submitted by local and international exhibitors across 18 categories covering design, innovation, technology, lifestyle and society, and standards. The judging panel comprised professionals in various disciplines including architects, interior designers and engineers.

This award for MAPESILENT® is very timely for MAPEI Malaysia as the company was using the exhibition platform to launch its Acoustics Insulation Product Line with a webinar by Antonio Munafo, the corporate Technical Adviser for this segment.

The award was received on MAPEI’s behalf by Simon Yap, its Business Unit Manager for Waterproofing and Insulation, at a ceremony held on 5th Nov at the KL Convention Centre.
