MAPEI in Archidex 2024

At this year’s ARCHIDEX, MAPEI partnered with Stone Empire Marketing Sdn Bhd to showcase products and systems related to natural stone and marble.

One of the key highlights is the replica of Merdeka Tower 118, located right at the entrance. It features the use of MAPEI KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO for the installation of large natural stones on the floors and walls. In addition to this unique and eye-catching display, there were various showcases of systems ranging from waterproofing to the installation of large-format tiles in bathrooms, balconies, and swimming pools.

This year provided the perfect opportunity to launch our ZERO Line products, which include KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO and ULTRACOLOR PLUS ZERO. These products fully offset the residual CO2 emissions of their lifecycles through reforestation and biodiversity protection projects. This focus promotes the construction and restoration of buildings in a sustainable manner, with consideration for future generations, the well-being of the planet, and its inhabitants.

We are also honored to learn that KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO has been nominated for the ARCHIDEX Star Award. This award is an industry recognition and celebration of innovation and quality. KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO is a high-performance, deformable, cementitious adhesive with extended open time and no vertical slip. KERAFLEX MAXI S1 ZERO is classified under C2TE S1 in accordance with EN 12004 & ISO 13007-1 standards. This product is also certified to have fully offset CO2 emissions.

A special new product showcased at this year’s ARCHIDEX is the ULTRALITE S2 FLEX, a C2E S2 high-performance, highly deformable, lightweight cementitious adhesive with extended open time, particularly suitable for laying large-format tiles.

Additionally, new complementary products in the ULTRACARE range were introduced, such as ULTRACARE KERAPOXY CLEANER, a ready-to-use cleaner for removing traces of epoxy grout during and after tile installation, and ULTRACARE FUGA FRESCA, a polymeric paint for refreshing the color of cementitious grout joints between tiles that make up the highlight for this event.
