Mapecoat™ TNS products are manufactured by a family-owned company under ISO management standards to ensure product and service quality. Our Mapecoat TNS color coatings are QUV-tested to 2,000 hours and are tested for abrasion, tensile strength and elongation. Our Comfort and Comfort Elite systems are independently tested for force reduction. Additionally, Mapecoat TNS coatings are formulated with low VOCs.

There can be different explanations of why this happened. The grout may have been washed too soon or too much during the cleaning process, causing pigment to be removed from the grout. Or, the grout powder may not have been dry-blended before mixing in order to avoid color variation.

This indicates that too much water may have been used either in the mix or the cleaning process.

MAPEI is committed to using innovative, sustainable and low-VOC materials to ensure that our products have the lowest impact on the environment possible. Because of this, MAPEI does not offer a solvent-based synthetic turf product.

 

Possible causes are:

1. Washed with excessive amounts of water.
2. Too much water was mixed-in with the grout.
3. Grouted before mortar was fully dry, with moisture from the mortar trapped under the tile.
4. Wall tiles may be inherently over-absorbent.
   
   In all cases, apply UltraCare Grout Refresh to the grout joints.

Because you will be directly touching it with an adhesive and flooring material, both of which may not function properly when in contact with a damp substrate. For example, if your goal was to install a solid vinyl sheet flooring over a damp concrete slab using a wet-lay, water-based adhesive, once you covered the adhesive with the sheet vinyl there would be nowhere for the moisture in the adhesive to absorb into; the existing moisture would remain in its liquid state and the installation would be a mess. Another example would be to install prefinished solid wood flooring using a urethane adhesive over a damp concrete slab. The urethane adhesive would cure nicely because it cures by coming into contact with moisture, but the wood flooring would absorb moisture coming from the slab and cup, warp, curl or swell – causing a nightmare of a problem. The bottom line is that there's a reason for the moisture-limits statements of adhesives and flooring materials. As such, the installer should calculate the appropriate measurements for moisture to determine if he can proceed or if he needs to do something more to isolate that moisture from the flooring installation.

240 V gives you twice the square footage of 120 V at the same amperage, therefore allowing larger areas to be heated per thermostat. Please note that the dedicated-circuit voltage must match the voltage of the cable that is installed.

 

MAPEI is committed to offering a wide range of products designed to provide solutions for every problem. While one-component synthetic turf adhesives are easier to use, they are not always the best option as they cure/set much slower when the air is cold or dry. In contrast, MAPEI’s two-component synthetic turf adhesives use a catalyst system to ensure that they cure quickly and predictably even in harsh conditions.
