The aquatic centre had concrete decking around the pools that was slippery and absorbent and tracksite in the changing rooms that was delaminating. All mapei flooring product was mixed according to the technical date sheets. Tracksite antislip flooring was ground off existing concrete decking all decking was ground clean and vacuumed. Planiseal MR rolled out using 270mm/20mm nap roller sleeves. Quartz sand was broadcast into primer then left to cure. After curing excess sand was brushed, vacuumed then given a final brush. Mapefloor 300I was mixed and rolled out over sand with 270mm/10mm nap roller sleeves. Mapefloor finish 57 was applied within 24 hours on Mapefloor 300I with 270mm/7mm nap roller sleeves. All rolled coats where back rolled to achieve consistent application.
