The installation, which featured a variety of N&C Nicobond mosaics and tiles, spanned the indoor pool area, hydro pool, sauna and steam room, experience showers and changing rooms.
The Mapei specification included a waterproofing, preparation and installation system, featuring products from Mapei Zero Line - with CO2 offset in the entire lifecycle* - and EMICODE: EC1 Plus formulations. The project was completed for Luscombe Construction and the interior designed by 3idog. Located in an enviable position on Cornwall’s north coast, near Rock and Polzeath, the St Moritz Hotel is an iconic landmark with a whitewashed tiered façade. Dating back to the 1930’s, the historic building combines rustic-luxe hotel rooms, large suites, coastal villas and apartments, along with the only Cowshed Spa outside of Soho House properties. The recent £2+ million investment by the hotel’s founder, Hugh Ridgway, has included a rebuild of the indoor swimming pool and the new wellness area, alongside ice fountains and sensory showers. |
