The JKR exhibition organised in conjunction with SOC 2019 (Senior Officers’ Conference) at the Equatorial Hotel, Penang, provided MAPEI Malaysia with the opportunity to display solutions for waterproofing, concrete repairs and structural strengthening in public works.
Visitors to the Mapei booth included the Deputy Minister of Public Works, YB Haji Mohd Anuar Mohd Tahir. MAPEI was presented a plaque in recognition of its long-term support to JKR.
In SOC, the Most Excellent Contractor Award was won by JA Inokrit for the concrete repair and refurbishment of Pulau Tioman Jetty. MAPEI products used in this project were Mapefer 1K, Mapegrout Thixotropic, Mapefill MC06, Adesilex PG2 TG, Epojet LV, Mapelastic Guard and Mapecoat SZ MY.
