En 2019, dado el estado de las fachadas y su deterioro, se planteó su rehabilitación instalando un Sistema de Aislamiento Térmico Exterior (SATE) en las fachadas de la primera y segunda planta para, al mismo tiempo, mejorar la eficiencia energética del edificio. Así mismo, se decidió mejorar las dos cubiertas existentes mediante un cambio en la impermeabilización, sustituyendo un total de 6200 m2.
