Fili & Forme: New Mapei Group Acquisition

April 4^th 2018, Mapei Group acquired Fili & Forme Srl, a company operating since more than 10 years in the building industry under the Istrice brand.

Fili & Forme is specialized in the production of structural polymeric fibers for mortar and concrete reinforcement successfully used in different building sectors such as: large concrete floors, precast, the tunnelling & mining industry, high performance fibre-reinforced cementitious mortars.

Constantly monitoring the market needs Fili & Forme keeps on developing innovative products for specific applications, also in cooperation with major Italian Universities.

65% of Fili & Forme production is exported in 25 foreign countries thanks to the light weight, versatility and ease of transport costs of their products.
More than 10.000.000 sqm of industrial floors and more than 50 km of tunnels realized with Istrice fibres over the last 10 years are the constant witness of the success of a dynamic and growing company.
