The Ultracare family grows: eight new products for protecting surfaces

The ULTRACARE range by Mapei, on the market until today with nine products for cleaning surfaces, has been extended with the introduction of eight new products dedicated to another important aspect of caring for floors and tiles: protection.

This line, aimed at both professionals and DIY enthusiasts, now consists of a range of 17 cleaners and protectors that represents an innovative, versatile and reliable system that makes the work of users that much simpler while guaranteeing durability for every type of surface.

“With these new products for protecting surfaces, the Ultracare project has now entered the second phase”, declared Enrico Geronimi, Corporate Product Manager. “The Mapei offer will thus be the only one that helps professionals and end users from installation right up to the protection and maintenance of flooring in private, commercial and industrial settings”.

These protectors, formulated in the Mapei Research Laboratories, guarantee high performance and are the response to various requirements: from brightening up and providing water and oil-repellent protection for natural and artificial stone, cementine, terrazzo, etc., to protection for polished porcelain tiles with cementitious grouting and tiles prior to grouting.

The new products are the ideal, safe and easy-to-use solution for the most diverse sites, from new installations to the protection and maintenance of existing surfaces in the most varied commercial and residential settings.

Supplied ready to use, ULTRACARE protectors do not need to be diluted when applied on dry or slightly damp (depending on the type of product) and clean material; they may be applied with a brush or other means, such as a cloth or waxing mop.

ULTRACARE INTENSIFIER W, water-based, high-penetration polymer microemulsion for invigorating and protecting surfaces.

ULTRACARE INTENSIFIER S, solvent-based mixture of high-penetration polymers for invigorating and protecting surfaces.

ULTRACARE STAIN PROTECTOR W, water-based polymer emulsion with protection and anti-stain properties with a natural-effect finish for unpolished surfaces.

ULTRACARE STAIN PROTECTOR S, solvent-based polymer emulsion with protection and anti-stain properties with a natural-effect finish.

ULTRACARE STAIN PROTECTOR W PLUS, water-based polymer emulsion with protection and anti-stain properties with a natural-effect finish.

ULTRACARE GROUT RELEASE, water-dispersed product for protecting porous materials prior to grouting.

ULTRACARE GROUT PROTECTOR, water-dispersed product for protecting cementitious grouts and porcelain tiles.

ULTRACARE FUGA FRESCA, polymeric paint to refresh the colour of the cementitious grout joints between tiles.
