Mapetex Sel is a macro-holed, nonwoven, polypropylene fabric reinforcement used with Mapelastic and Mapelastic Smart.
Mapetex Sel features a series of 1/24" (1 mm) holes that enhance the bond between layers of Mapelastic while remaining flexible and breathable.
The unique fabric structure of Mapetex Sel significantly improves the performance of Mapelastic waterproofing and protective membranes with respect to toughness, durability, “punch resistance,” crack-bridging and elongation.
Unaffected by alkalis contained in cement
Resistant to aggressive atmospheric agents
