MAPEI Corporation celebrated a second action-packed year as a proud partner of Andretti Global during the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, highlighted by sponsorship of Marco Andretti in the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500 and continued logo presence throughout the season on Kyle Kirkwood’s No. 27 Honda.
The season concluded at Nashville Superspeedway with the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix, where Kirkwood delivered a strong performance in the No. 27 Sam’s Club Honda. Despite qualifying 13th, Kirkwood showed his trademark determination, leading the most laps in the 206-lap finale. An untimely yellow and a Track Limit penalty dropped him to 10th, but he charged back through the field to secure an impressive fourth-place finish.
The race marked Kirkwood’s second start at the Nashville oval, where he claimed his first career oval pole position in 2024. Entering the event fifth in the overall standings, Kirkwood capped his season with another demonstration of speed and resilience. He won three races, including his first-ever oval win, the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at World Wide Technology Raceway on June 15.
MAPEI’s logo was also featured on the No. 28 Honda of Marcus Ericsson for the season’s finale. Ericsson, however, faced a difficult outing, struggling with grip issues on restarts. Despite strong work from his pit crew, he slipped down through the field and ultimately finished 15th. After the race, Ericsson expressed his disappointment with the season but looked ahead with determination to regroup for 2026.
The 2025 season featured 17 races across the United States and Canada, from the opener at The Streets of St. Petersburg on March 2 to the finale at Nashville on August 31. Along the way, MAPEI and Andretti Global celebrated key moments, including Marco Andretti’s appearance in the Indy 500, Kirkwood’s continued growth as a contender and consistent visibility for the MAPEI brand in one of the most competitive racing series in the world.
As the checkered flag fell on the season, Team Andretti’s Alex Palou secured the 2025 championship. For MAPEI, the year underscored the power of teamwork, resilience and high-performance partnerships – values that drive both INDYCAR racing and MAPEI’s success.
