MAPEI President Meets Gary Sinise and 100th Home Recipient at GSF Event

The Gary Sinise Foundation recently hosted a special meet-and-greet event where Luigi Di Geso, MAPEI North America’s President and CEO, met actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise, along with U.S. Army Sergeant First Class (Ret.) Joe Bowser. Bowser is the recipient of the Foundation’s 100th specially adapted smart home.

The 100th home was presented to Sgt. Bowser during a welcome-home ceremony on Wednesday, November 19, celebrating his service and the milestone achievement of the Foundation. Family, friends, and members of the veteran community joined in honoring Bowser and the many veterans helped by the R.I.S.E. Program.

Di Geso, said, “Meeting Gary Sinise and Sergeant Joe Bowser was truly inspiring. MAPEI is proud to contribute materials that help create safe, comfortable homes for our nation’s heroes.”

MAPEI proudly supported this milestone project with donations of building materials including setting materials, adhesives, and Mapeheat radiant floor-heating systems, continuing its long-standing partnership with the Foundation’s R.I.S.E. Program, which builds customized, fully accessible homes for severely wounded veterans.
