MAPEI Corporation’s Ed Kluckowski, Business Development Leader – Bridges & Highways / DOT Projects for the Construction and Restoration Systems division, recently visited Clemson University to deliver a presentation titled “Extending the Service Life of Existing Bridges – Key Concrete Repair & Strengthening Basics.” The session was presented to students who are enrolled in the Advanced Concrete Technology and Repair and Rehabilitation of Concrete Structures courses that are led by Professor Prasad Rangaraju, PhD, PE, FACI of the Glenn Department of Civil Engineering.
Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students attended the lectures, engaging actively throughout. According to Professor Rangaraju, the students asked many thoughtful questions and appreciated the open dialog, gaining valuable real-world insight into concrete-repair strategies and long-term bridge performance.
