Products developed with MAPEI's "green innovation" are LEED-compatible, helping to contribute valuable points toward LEED-certified projects.
Since 2001, MAPEI has been a member of the U.S. Green Building Council in support of sustainable construction products and practices.

The company also became a member of the Canada Green Building Council in 2008.
MAPEI’s carpet/wood/resilient adhesives are certified by the Carpet & Rug Institute’s Green Label Plus program.
MAPEI has joined the Collaborative for High Performance schools. Tile and stone installation product certifications can be found on the CHPS database.
