Quick soundproofing system for the installation of wooden flooring

Application steps

Concrete substrate

Soundproofing membrane
Unroll the sheets taking care to join or overlap each roll for at least 5 cm in order to ensure a continuous soundproofing layer.

Soundproofing band
Apply the soundproofing tape at the base of the perimeter walls and on elements passing through the screed if present.

Soundproofing tape
Seal joints between sheets by applying the soundproofing tape and accurately pressing it with a rigid roller.

Screed
Prepare levels and spread the mix by carefully tamping and floating the surface to obtain a better finish.

Adhesive
Apply the adhesive evenly on the whole substrate using a suitable trowel.

Commercial wood flooring

Water-based binder for grouting
Seal the flooring by applying the grout obtained with ULTRACOAT AQUA PLUS on the whole surface.

Two-component water-based basecoat
Apply ULTRACOAT PREMIUM BASE by brush or roller (ULTRACOAT ROLLER T10).

Adhesive
Apply the adhesive for the installation of perimeter skirtings.

Sealant
Seal the skirting with SILWOOD in the same colour as the installed wooden flooring.

Two-component polyurethane paint
Carry out a surface skimming finish in two coats using ULTRACOAT ROLLER T5.
