CONCRETE FLOORING SOLUTIONS is the proposal by MAPEI for concrete industrial flooring using fibre-reinforced concrete and a complete range of specific products for every execution phase. Using FRC with polymeric structural fibres allows traditional rebar to be partially or totally replaced.

MAPEI, the only Italian manufacturer of structural synthetic fibres, provides assistance for clients from the design stage right up to the execution stage on site, working alongside them from the structural calculation stage right up to studying the mix design for the concrete at the mixing plant, as well as checks and controls while work is ongoing through its Mobile Concrete Labs.

A line of admixtures for concrete specifically formulated for making industrial flooring according to different environmental and conglomerate placing conditions.

Calculation and dimensioning of industrial flooring through the collaboration of Mapei Engineers Specialised in the Design of Industrial Flooring and the release of relative Technical Proposals

Calculation of theoretical shrinkage – verification of hygrometric shrinkage and curling in jointless flooring using Mapecrete System technology;

Technological support with the study of concrete mix design and pre-qualification tests, where required, at concrete mixing plants, using acrylic-based super-plasticisers specifically formulated for making high quality concrete flooring and polymeric structural fibres manufactured in Mapei production plants;

Technical assistance Through support from our specialists and Mobile Concrete Labs directly on site during the various execution stages;
